Shop Tools
Massage tools are an extension of the massage therapist. These different ‘shop tools’ allow us to work the muscles in new and effective ways. The use of massage tools allows the therapist to overcome challenging areas and better adapt to the patients' needs, developing a personalized and more focused session.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is using essential oils that have been blended into the lotion to stimulate the olfactory nerve. When stimulated, this nerve sends messages to the hypothalamus to release different hormones to help regulate body functions. These body functions include digestion, sleep and mood.
*We only use preblended oils from Wholistic Aromatics and Hummingbird Creations to assist in weight loss, smoking detox and flu fighting*
Bamboo Stick
Heating 100% real bamboo for optimal heat distribution, these sticks are gently applied to the skin. The warmth of the bamboo is transferred to the muscle and allows for opening of the tissue, creating a deeper yet, relaxing experience.

Dotting Stylus

Dotting stylus is a simple tool that replaced my unique paper clip technique. Repetitive dotting is done in an area where the fascial tissue has adhered to itself. A 5-second static hold and release is then repeated. The fine tip of the tool allows the therapist to break the fascial adhesion apart in a highly effective manner thus, allowing range of motion to be restored. This tool can even sedate nerves that have been badly injured.
Gua Sha Blades
Gua Sha is a traditional eastern healing method in which the therapist’s tool-assisted strokes create a lifting effect on your skin, lessening toxins, promoting healing, and treating chronic pain and inflammation.

Magnet

Negatively charged magnet(s) can help with sedating an area that is neurologically over stimulated. When placed in key areas the massage therapist can work points that would normally be oversensitive to the patient. In the case of people with tremors, the negatively charged magnet(s) can help to slow the tremors down by calming the nerves.
In sections where there are reduced neuro function positive magnet(s) are used to help to stimulate the tissue and nerves. This can be done directly in that area or through reflexology points.
Combined positive and negative magnets can help create natural endorphins to reduce pain and guide the body into a healthier healing pattern.
Thai Stick
Made from 100% Thai rosewood this tool is used in traditional Thai foot massages. The Thai Stick is used to stimulate different reflex points and can also be used during trigger point therapy.

Vacuum Cupping or Medi-Cupping

Vacuum cupping is a modern version of cupping using a small machine to create a controlled suction. Different size cups are placed on the body to lift up and create traction on the skin, fascia, muscle, tendon and vascular system. The cups are then able to guide fresh nutrients to areas for better absorption, while also moving lymphatic waste from an area and directing it out of the body. Different techniques can be used to reduce scars, bring back motor function of the nerves, and tone the skin.
Metal Vacuum Therapy Roller Cups
These cups work with the vacuum cupping machine and provide similar effects of traditional vacuum cupping; however, they have rollers on them to allow the therapist to break down the most stubborn of adhesions. These cups are only used on the “no pain, no gain’ clients who want quicker results regardless of recovery time.
